CoH and Abul Mogard team up for “CoH Meets Abul Mogard” LP

It’s the first Abul Mogard project in which the true identity behind the moniker has been revealed as Guido Zen.

CoH and Abul Mogard have teamed up for their CoH Meets Abul Mogard project, out today via London label Houndstooth. Listen below.

The four-track LP sees CoH - real name Ivav Pavlov - “illuminate the texture of the unfinished synth sketches” by Italian artist Guido Zen, the mastermind behind the Abul Mogard moniker. The identity was revealed for the first time only last month after 10 years in obscurity.

Loud & Quiet once reported that the faux genesis of Abul Mogard stemmed back to Belgrade, Serbia in a metal factory.

This is the second release of the year under the moniker for Guido Zen, with In a Few Places Along the River coming out in February.
