SFMix 003: Skeleton King
The Bristol-based producer cooks up a succulent serving of UKG, breaks, and atmospheric grooves.
Having recently released his debut Breaks ‘N’ Pieces Vol. 3 EP, Skeleton King is on hand for this characteristically break-filled, UKG-infused mix.
The 23-year-old commonly looks to the likes of Coco Bryce and Y U QT for inspiration, and that UK bass and two-step feel is certainly felt throughout this hour-long offering.
Currently residing in Bristol, the young producer created this mix with setting-versatility in mind. “I wanted to create an atmospheric but groovy vibe - the kind of thing that you could put on when you’re chilling out, or to have a little dance to,” he says. “Hopefully it’s a varied mix that can be enjoyed in a lot of contexts.”
With a smattering of his own alluring unreleased tracks, Skeleton King teases us with a back catalogue that has been steadily growing, waiting to be released into the wild.
